Like OMG>?! I did it!! Just after midnight it becomes Halloween and here we are with my 666th post on my BLOG. I simply ROK! So, what’s the big deal? Everything – I mean my name is even Damian!!! How awesome is that!
So, basically one theory of the number 666 comes from the times of the prophet ‘Daniel’ in the Bible – this comes at a time when people in Babylon worshiped the sun, the moon, planets and certain stars; culminating in “37″ deities/supreme gods – the belief was that numbers held power over these gods, so each of the 36 lesser gods was assigned a number; and the sum of these numbers become the number of the sun god (see above) – so it all boils down to Babylonian Priests and their Pagan practices.
There is still some contention in more biblical studies as to whether the “number of the beats” is 666 or actually 616 either way the Bible takes a very negative view of the number in some contrast to the Baylonians.
